Greater Manchester Police currently employ over 4,000 police staff in over 700 different job roles. Our police staff employees provide an invaluable function, supporting front line officers, and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation.
There are literally hundreds of different roles filled by police
staff, from enquiry counter clerks, police community support
officers, crime scene examiners to IT specialists, human resource managers and communication officers. There are just too many
