Mention the 'Police Force' and people automatically think of uniformed Police Officers. You might be surprised to know, therefore, that police staff too play a valuable role in assisting the Police Officers on the beat.
From Crime Scene Examiners to Communications Officers and some of the more traditional roles - the career and development opportunities in such a big Force are endless.
For those of you who are not yet ready for a change in career direction, think about volunteering as a Special Constable. Not only will we provide you with full training and a uniform, we pay travelling expenses in return for a weekly commitment of four hours tour of duty per week. |
