Providing accurate information on the Unit’s expenditure, you will investigate discrepancies and make recommendations to the Chief Inspector. Liaising with the Branch HR Officer you will assist with short-listing, interviewing and the selection of Groom Team Leaders and Grooms.
You will be first and foremost a proven manager, strong on problem solving with leadership skills. You will have equine knowledge evidenced to BHSAI or equivalent and previous experience managing a yard. Keyboard skills and knowledge of computer applications together with experience of budget control are also essential to this role as is the ability carry out duties including lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, riding and exercising horses.
