Instructing Mounted Section officers you will improve their riding expertise and technical competence when working with or riding young horses.  You will also instruct riding courses to the required standard.

Working as part of a small team, your role will involve training both horses and riders, to be an effective combination in patrolling the streets of Greater Manchester. You will be qualified to at least BHSAI and have significant  teaching experience and a proven ability to develop both horses and adult riders. You will be enthusiastic and flexible, combined with the ability to assess candidates, preferably qualified to NVQ Level 2.
